About the Role

Ausnorth Building & Construction are a respected Queensland based construction company delivering a range of exceptional services to Clients in the insurance sector across multiple states. Following consistent growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for an Estimator / Supervisor, with existing Insurance experience, to join us in the leadership role of Area Manager Brisbane North.

As the Area Manager you'll be a big part of the wider SEQ repair team. You'll be responsible for attending sites, preparing site reports and quotations.

You will work closely with a dedicated internal trade network & utilise additional preferred externals.

The role comes with a great work / life balance with the flexibility to work from home as well as attending multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct onsite assessments of insured properties to determine damage
  • Identify the difference between insurance related damage and maintenance
  • Create detailed and accurate assessment reports, scopes of works and quotes
  • Work closely with the project administration team
  • Ensure all work conforms to legislative and contractual requirements

About You

You have experience as an Insurance Estimator / Supervisor. You're a self-motivated team player with a positive can-do attitude who enjoys working autonomously.

Important to our team success will be your out-going personality & team-orientated attitude.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Neat and tidy and professional presentation
  • Be familiar with OHS practices, legislation and regulations
  • An eye for detail and quality
  • A positive "can do" work ethic
  • Computer literate with knowledge in the use of Outlook & Word.
  • Preferably working knowledge of PrimeEco system
  • Current and valid driver's licence
