Wurf Resourcing is currently inviting applications from experienced insurance build market professionals for a newly created, head office based position, for a Senior Estimator.

This is a leadership role, representing an opportunity to work for one of the highest regarded insurance builders, who differentiate themselves by way of professionalism, stability and integrity.

We are seeking a driven, motivated and accomplished estimating professional who can represent a successful track-record in driving team and operational performance.

The position will report directly to the Queensland Estimating Manager and focus on the SEQ market; specifically large loss opportunities which are derived from long-term insurance panel, loss adjustor and technical assessor channels, circa $100K - $1M (and increasing) in value.

Strong people management, client facing capabilities, staff development and superior communication skills are non-negotiable, as is the willingness to lead by example rather than from a position of authority.

We require a calm, level-headed, collaborative leader in this role, as major event periods will result in a high volume of work being delivered concurrently by the team.

The position is open to experienced Estimators / Assessorsaspiring to take on a senior role in a stable and supportive estimating team. Complimenting your experience in the insurance works sector, should be trade or tertiary qualifications in Construction, though further consideration of relevant pathways will be applied.
