About the opportunity

Due to organisational growth, an exciting opportunity currently exists for a Sales Cadet to join our professional Wholesale team at Sydney, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for a second- or third-year apprentice seeking for a change, or someone with a drive for sales.

Reporting to the Sales manager, as you develop your skills you will assist the Sales team with administrative tasks as well as provide high-quality customer service to a diverse range of customers.

What you will do?

  • Entering sales orders from various customers into the designated sales system.
  • Picking and packing orders in controlled temperature and cold storage facilities.
  • Assist with the preparation and dispatch of customer orders, where required.
  • Provide general, ad-hoc administrative support to Wholesale department.
  • With training provided, become a Business Development Manager

What are we looking for?

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Previous customer service experience, ideally within meat industry.
  • Experience with B2B sales or general sales experience.
  • Willingness to learn and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Strong Computer skills (Word, Excel & Office applications).
  • Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment as required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
