An exciting opportunity has become available for an Estimator to join our South Australian team, contributing to tenders on projects across the country.

Description:

Access Hardware is Australia's leading supplier of commercial door hardware, locksmithing, and security solutions. With a national presence and over 330 staff across the country, we support trade, commercial, and major project customers with a complete range of products and services.

We've recently strengthened our offering with the acquisition of API Access & Security, expanding our team and capabilities to become the largest commercial locksmith and security network in Australia.

Reporting to the Estimating Team Leader and working closely with the Sales team, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and take on this crucial role.

About you:

  • Liaise with our Customers and Suppliers to clarify to ensure job details are correct
  • Prepare tender submissions
  • Review architectural drawings to create quotations
  • Establish and build strong customer relationships and follow up of quotations to assist in the sales process
  • Maintain logs and report on quotation outcomes

Skills and Experiences:

To be considered you must have:

  • 1 – 2 years industry experience in a similar role
  • Although not a necessity, exposure to the construction industry would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to read architectural drawings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills
  • Abe to manage deadlines whilst working under minimal supervision
  • Customer Service focused
