Senior Bookkeeper

We are seeking a
Senior Bookkeeper
to join one of our clients, a supportive and small-to-mid-sized business based in the Sydney CBD. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping functions with a strong focus on
 balance sheet accuracy
 and
 cash management
 .
- Perform
 bank reconciliations
 and manage high-volume transactions
- Create and maintain thorough
 paper trails
 to support auditing requirements.
- Use
 Xero
 for day-to-day bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Oversee
 trustee responsibilities
 , including unit trust management and fiduciary duties around cash flow.
- Support
 registry functions
 and liaise with fund managers or financial planning companies when required.
- Communicate professionally with clients via email and provide clear documentation of financial processes.
- Ensure deadlines are met and workflows are managed efficiently.
About You
- Qualified Bookkeeper or Accountant with proven experience.
- Strong
 experience in trustee accounting
 and an understanding of fiduciary responsibilities.
- Solid knowledge of
 unit trusts
 , with prior exposure to fund managers or small financial planning firms, is desirable.
- Demonstrated
 tenure and stability
 in past roles.
- Excellent skills in
 balance sheet reconciliation
 , high-volume payment processing, and Xero software.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to
 multi-task
 and manage competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and
 critical thinking
 skills.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to
 see tasks through to completion
 .
