About Us

Sydney Aboriginal Family Support Service (SAFSS) is a respected Aboriginal-led organisation dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities through culturally safe and person-centred NDIS support.

We're currently seeking casual Support Workers and Support Coordinators to join our team. These roles focus on providing meaningful, culturally responsive support to Aboriginal participants and their families under the NDIS.


About the Roles

Support Workers:

Provide hands-on assistance with daily living, community participation, transport, and personal support. You'll build strong, respectful relationships and help participants strengthen their independence and connection to culture.

Support Coordinators:

Assist participants in managing their NDIS plans, connecting with service providers, and achieving their individual goals. You'll advocate for clients and ensure they receive culturally safe, high-quality support.


What We're Looking For
  • Experience in disability, aged care, or community support (Support Worker)
  • Experience in NDIS coordination or case management (Support Coordinator)
  • Strong communication, empathy, and organisational skills
  • Understanding of Aboriginal culture and commitment to cultural safety
  • Current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and driver's licence

Desirable: Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, or Allied Health
