We're looking for a People & Culture Manager to lead the day-to-day HR operations, supporting our teams and ensuring everything runs smoothly while the Head of People & Culture focuses on strategy and projects.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, and the full employee lifecycle, while assisting with payroll queries and workforce management processes. You'll support managers and employees, helping the business run efficiently and ensuring our people thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day People & Culture operationsand support the Coordinator.
  • Assist managers with employee relations, performance, and development.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and the full employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, legislation, and the General Retail Award.
  • Support payroll queries and smooth HR processes.
  • Drive engagement, wellbeing, and recognition initiatives.
What you'll bring:
  • People & Culture/HR Management experience, ideally in retail.
  • Knowledge of HR legislation, General Retail Award, and workforce systems like TANDA.
  • Basic awareness of General Retail Award requirements is essential for this role.
  • Experience with TANDA workforce system is preferred, however training can be provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and hands-on skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
