Centurion Building Products, an Australian family-owned manufacturing group with a national presence, operates under two divisions:

  • Centurion Garage Doors Pty Ltd - our garage doors division which has operations across the country and has been servicing builders, resellers and home-owners for nearly 50 years and
  • Centurion Framing Systems Pty Ltd - our newer but rapidly expanding metal framing division that supplies and installs steel roof, wall and flooring systems to the local building industry.

The Role

As our People & Culture Manager for Centurion Building Products, you will play a key role in supporting the business to shape our culture and workforce as we continue to grow. Reporting to the CFO, this full-time, permanent role will work closely with the leadership team to contribute to the development and implementation of people initiatives across the Group.

Your role will be diverse and hands-on, with responsibilities including:

  • People Strategy & Leadership: Contribute to the development and implementation of group-wide People and Culture initiatives aligned with business objectives. Provide support and advice to the Executive Team and managers on workforce capability, succession planning, and organisational development.
  • Recruitment & Workforce Planning: Oversee end to end recruitment and onboarding processes, and assist in building a talent pipeline for key roles.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, assisting the business in managing industrial relations and meeting its compliance requirements with workplace legislation, awards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Culture, Engagement & Performance: Drive initiatives to foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture. Support employee engagement programs and oversee performance management processes.
  • Learning & Development: Help identify training and development needs and support the rollout of programs to build leadership and technical capability, whilst championing succession planning.
  • Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Work with WHS leaders to support safety and wellbeing initiatives across the workforce.

What You'll Bring:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Background in a manufacturing, construction, or similar industrial environment highly desirable
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering culture, engagement, and learning initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to engage across all levels.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
