Founded in 2007, Linkforce started with a small crew of shutdown specialists and a single utility operating in the Pilbara. Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 3,000 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.
THE ROLE
Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an IT Support Officer to join our IT team. Based at our new CBD head office, this position is offered on a full time permanent basis.
You will be reporting to the Service Desk Team Lead as part of a high-performing team that is supportive, agile and has established processes and deadlines whilst providing IT support to office and site-based users across the organisation.
Duties include:
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Assisting users in understanding and effectively utilising ICT tools and systems to support operational productivity
- Developing and maintaining user-facing documentation including guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting procedures
- Ensuring high levels of user satisfaction through prompt and effective resolution of IT support tickets
- Managing user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and hardware provisioning
- Setting up and configuring new hardware such as desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices for office and site environments
- Maintaining accurate records of company-owned IT assets in the asset register
- Supporting the delivery of small-scale IT projects, including system upgrades and rollouts
ABOUT YOU
- A genuine interest in Information Technology and supporting operational teams
- A proactive, "can do" attitude with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Committed to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Confidence working with Windows and Microsoft 365 tools
- Hold a current Driver's License
- Experience in a service desk environment
- Certificate III or equivalent in Information Technology is desirable
- Active Directory, MDM, ITSM toolsets, iOS, Android is an advantage
