Due to continual growth, and the establishment of a new office in Gold Coast, we're looking for a Contracts Administrator (CA) to join our Sydney Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft scopes of works and tender packages to accompany requests for quotations issued to suppliers for projects
- Provide assistance to the Commercial Director and Senior Estimator in the negotiation of contract departures
- Maintain a register of all suppliers
- Assist in negotiation of contract terms and conditions
- Overseeing all project costs
- Administration of RFIs to consultants & builders
- Ensure cost forecasting for allocated subcontracts and cost codes are accurately maintained
- Managing all project-related contracts, including supplier and subcontracts
- Administering progress claims, variations, and extensions of time
- Negotiating and resolving disputes with builders, subcontractors and suppliers
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and records
- Collaborating with the Commercial Director & Operations Director and site team to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor contract milestones, performance, and productivity on respective projects
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in construction (Formwork experience preferred)
- Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings and documents
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter with a positive attitude who can work independently and contribute to team success
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work conditions
