About the Role

Green Light Worldwide, in partnership with our Defence client, is seeking a Contract Administrator to join their team on a contract through to June 2026.

Working under limited direction, you will perform and achieve moderately complex commercial, administrative, and procurement functions within an integrated workforce. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and contract management expertise, with a focus on supporting capability lifecycle activities across procurement planning, tendering, contract formation, and contract closure..

Responsibilities:

  • Support commercial elements of the capability lifecycle including procurement planning, tendering, contract management, and contract closure.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, procurement policies, and Defence processes across all procurement and contracting activities.
  • Provide commercial advice, direction, and assistance on procurement policy, technical, legal, and financial requirements.
  • Collaborate with CASG entities (e.g. MPB, FIS, CFA, DFG, Defence Legal) to achieve effective outcomes.
  • Build and sustain productive relationships with executives, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support Contract Management and Development Officers to enhance team commercial capability.
  • Review, prepare, and deliver high-quality procurement-related documentation, reports, plans, and submissions.
  • Provide advice on conflict of interest, probity, liability, and intellectual property policies.
  • Conduct contract management activities including payments, cost tracking, monitoring deliverables, and reporting.
  • Support and participate in contract meetings, forums, and industry briefings.
  • Evaluate tender responses and contribute to procurement evaluation panels.
  • Provide commercial advice to resolve disputes and negotiate claims.
  • Input into project performance reviews, cost reviews, and reporting activities.

Requirements:

  • Current NV1 Security Clearance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing work demands.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering procurement and contract management outcomes in a Defence or similar environment.
  • Ability to access and use DPE/DSE systems as required.
