About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated full-time Payroll Officer to join our team, based in Eagle Farm. This is a challenging yet rewarding role within a fast-paced industry and expanding organisation. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities in this diverse role, offering depth and breadth to solidify and advance your career now and into the future.

Working within the Payroll Team, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Shared weekly end-to-end payroll processing for 2000+ salaried, full time, part time and casual team members
  • Payroll Reporting; ensuring confidentiality and accuracy and timely delivery of payroll information.
  • Maintaining payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and employment changes
  • Being a friendly point of contact for employee payroll-related enquiries.
  • Ensure all relevant awards and payroll-based employment legislation is being adhered to
  • Processing leave and termination calculations in line with company policies
  • Ensuring timely resolution of payroll discrepancies and ensuring employee satisfaction with payroll processes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Highly organised and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a high performing team after being trained
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and computer literacy skills
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role, ideally in Hospitality
