As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Payroll Officer to join our team in Wacol.This is a unique opportunity to not only manage payroll functions but also support the finance team in broader day-to-day operations.Location -Wacol, Brisbane QLDPosition -Payroll (Accounting)Full time-$85,000 – $95,000 per yearKey ResponsibilitiesSet up new employees in the payroll system and maintain accurate personnel records.Review and approve timesheets, ensuring timely uploads into the payroll system.Prepare month-end reports including:Payroll TaxChild Support Agency deductionsGarnishee and Union FeesSeverance PaymentsSuperannuationComplete year-end processes such as:Payroll tax reconciliationsIssuing Payment SummariesReporting Fringe BenefitsManage superannuation and payroll tax payments.Perform general ledger reconciliations.Assist the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks.Required Qualifications & ExperienceExperience with UKG payroll system, SAP Business One or Oracle Cloud is highly desirable.Strong understanding of industrial awards and agreements.Solid grasp of payroll legislation and compliance.Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.Report writing experience is a plus.What We OfferCompetitive salary package.Supportive and inclusive team culture.Opportunity to grow your accounting skills.Be part of a dynamic and expanding organisation.If you're ready to take the next step in your payroll career and contribute to a thriving finance team, we'd love to hear from you.
