Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.

This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Marketing and Communications Advisor to join our dynamic Engagement Team at either our Sydney head office or Wagga Wagga office on a 3-6 month fixed contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative professional to contribute to a variety of exciting marketing and communications initiatives within a corporate construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement general marketing strategies
  • Organise and manage internal and external events at a high level
  • Produce and distribute community communications and company updates
  • Organise conferences, external speakers, catering etc
  • Organise photo shoots for marketing materials
  • Coordinate safety days and related activities
  • Collaborate with the client on marketing strategies and reporting
  • Travel to the project site in regional NSW as required
  • Process invoices associated with the marketing team

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in marketing, events, and communications
  • Experience within the construction industry or a similar field
  • Relevant qualification or degree in Marketing, Communications, or Events Management
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own work
