Operating within Compass Group PLC, the world's leading food service company, this position is part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the Food program for Google. The vision of Food at Google is to contribute to feeding the world responsibly and sustainably through program leadership and Alphabet's ecosystem.
The Marketing, Communications and Engagement team exists to support the global Food at Google program and its values both to Googlers, and to vendor partners.
THE POSITION:
- Lead marketing strategy for Compass at Google in assigned countries, aligning local needs with regional and global goals.
- Execute marketing initiatives that build brand trust and engagement through strategic communications, events, and brand campaigns.
- Serve as a central marketing point of contact for multiple teams, including local and regional operations, Google's Food Program, and global teams.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across a complex ecosystem, using strong communication and a solutions-oriented approach to ensure effective collaboration.
- Support key projects and initiatives by creating marketing tools, resources, and campaigns in partnership with global and regional cross-functional teams.
- This role collaborates with other team members, including global marketing team members and regional and global cross-functional team members (such as culinary, sustainability, risk management, operations, business operations, finance and people operations).
THE PERSON:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications (or equivalent)
- 7 years of related brand marketing, brand building, brand communication and digital marketing experiences
- Self starter with a proven background in developing marketing, communications or related strategy, activating and executing supporting initiatives (Full funnel strategy, including digital)
- Excellent verbal and written communication (storytelling) skills
- Good analytical skills and ability to evaluate information to communicate concise trends and recommendations to enhance brand equity and performance
- Demonstrated experience leading both internal and external communications
- Experience in project and stakeholder management in complex and time-sensitive situations
- Ability to build credibility and trust with key stakeholder groups (Compass, Sector, Google, peers, users)
- Working knowledge of Google Suite products (docs, sheets, slides, etc.)
