Our marketing team is growing To strengthen our digital capability, Experience Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Digital Manager – Owned Channels, for a 15-month parental leave cover contract.
This role will lead the strategic delivery and day-to-day performance of our owned digital platforms, including websites, email, SMS, and apps. You will balance strategic direction with hands-on execution, ensuring these channels are optimised, integrated, and delivering measurable outcomes for the visitor economy.
What you'll do
- Lead the management, performance, and continuous improvement of owned digital channels to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences.
- Oversee campaign deployment across email, web, apps, SMS and push channels, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and brand alignment.
- Develop and deliver platform roadmaps, driving innovation, integration, and improved audience engagement.
- Manage upgrades, redesigns, and feature rollouts, including apps and CMS improvements.
- Monitor and report on channel performance, turning insights into recommendations that drive engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Foster a culture of test-and-learn across platforms to continuously optimise outcomes.
- Lead and mentor a small team (Email Marketing Specialist, Web Developer, Digital Marketing Specialist), encouraging collaboration, curiosity, and growth.
- Partner with internal teams and external agencies to align channel activity with campaign, brand, and organisational objectives.
What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Information Systems or similar.
- 3–5 years' experience managing digital platforms such as websites, email, apps, or marketing automation systems.
- Strong proficiency with CMS (ideally Sitecore), ESPs, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- A proven track record of delivering integrated, multi-channel digital campaigns in collaboration with media, creative, and analytics teams.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple platforms and competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and develop a small team.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with adaptability in fast-paced digital environments.
