Envoi Specialist Pathologists - Private Pathology Practice - Gold Coast opportunity
- Courier Driver – Casual – Shifts between hours of 8am - 10:30pm Monday to Friday, and weekend shifts. Approx 20-25 hours per week.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a casual Courier Driver to join Envoi Specialist Pathologists - a private Histopathology practice dedicated to Gastrointestinal and Hepatic Pathology.
Established in Brisbane in 2007, our pathologists have a national and international reputation for provision of excellent service and world-class research. Working closely with referring Gastroenterologists and Surgeons, we aim to enhance the care of patients by providing a timely and accurate pathology service.
The Courier Driver will report to the Practice/ Laboratory Manager and Administration Manager, and work closely within a team of drivers to provide services including:
- Preparing and delivering pathology supplies to specialists within Gold Coast hospitals and medical centres;
- Occasional return trips to our Brisbane Laboratory may be required (Kelvin Grove);
- Picking up and delivering pathology samples, documentation, and test results;
- Adherence to Quality, Workplace Health and Safety and confidentiality practices;
- General administration duties; and
- Laboratory support services.
- Shifts between 8am - 10:30pm Monday to Friday, and weekend work.
- Candidates must have availability for hours detailed - weekend and midweek.
- The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer focus and an ability to maintain and grow successful relationships with our external and internal partners – suppliers and clients. You will be a strong contributor to the team, displaying positive attitudes towards enhancing the reputation of our practice.
Candidates will have the following minimum requirements:
- Excellent customer service experience and skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills – both written and verbal communication.
- A current Queensland open driver's licence and own presentable and well-maintained vehicle (Envoi vehicle will be provided for use, but occasional use of own vehicle may be required);
- Strong time management and organisational skills – an ability to organise, plan and prioritise tasks;
- An ability to be flexible with working hours;
- An ability to work independently and as a team member under supervision;
- The candidate will also possess competency in Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience as a medical courier driver - highly regarded;
