About the Role:

Experience Gold Coast (EGC) is currently seeking an International Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role will support the coordination and execution of international marketing and trade initiatives that promote the Gold Coast to global leisure and business event audiences.

Working closely with the International Director and International Marketing Specialists, this role plays a key part in delivering trade familiarisation tours, industry events, and global campaigns. It also supports vital administrative, partnership, and operational functions within the international portfolio.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate trade and media familiarisation tours, including itinerary development and stakeholder liaison
  • Support the delivery of international workshops, roadshows, missions, and trade events
  • Manage marketing assets, collateral, and stock for international campaign activities
  • Provide on-the-ground operational support during key events to ensure exceptional delivery
  • Collaborate with EGC's membership and partnership teams to strengthen relationships with local tourism operators
  • Maintain regular communication with travel trade partners and equip them with up-to-date resources
  • Conduct regular product and venue inspections and share updates with the International Team
  • Accurately process purchase orders, track activity budgets, and maintain financial and operational records
  • Maintain international trade and media databases, CRM systems, and internal reporting documentation

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years' experience in international tourism, travel, or hospitality sectors
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating marketing initiatives, itineraries, or events
  • High-level planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience with CRM systems, databases, and reporting processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
