THE ROLE
As the Sales Consultant for VIC, you'll be responsible for driving project sales across metro and regional areas (primarily Geelong), focusing on major infrastructure and commercial construction projects. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Engaging with architects, designers, specifiers, builders, and tier 1/2 commercial builders/contractors.
- Selling bespoke automation and access solutions for government buildings, rail/metro stations, airports, and prisons.
- Managing the full project lifecycle—from technical consultation to installation handover (quoting done by support team).
- Interpreting CAD drawings, site layouts, and power/access configurations to present the right solution.
- You'll inherit an established pipeline with a mix of new business and warm accounts (approx. 50/50).
THE CANDIDATE
- Most Important Thing: Sales experience within the construction space. Ideally experience dealing with tier 1-2 builders/contractors within the commercial and/or residential space.
- You could come from a technical background (engineering, electronics, construction, electrical) or a sales-focused role in industrial or project environments—what matters most is your proactivity and technical curiosity.
- You're someone who doesn't wait for leads to land in your lap—you hunt, follow up, and creatively solve problems.
- If you've worked with products like facades, cladding, flooring, elevators, automation, access control, control systems, electrical enclosures, or building solutions, you'll hit the ground running.
- Whether you're a project manager looking to pivot into sales, or a commercial salesperson with technical acumen, this business will provide full product training and long-term development support.
The Package
- Base salary: Up to $110K + super
- Bonus
- Car allowance ($18.5K), Tools of the Trade (phone + laptop)
