About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Consultant to join our dynamic Melbourne team. In this role, you will drive business growth by engaging with key decision-makers across a range of industries to identify and deliver tailored technology solutions.

As a senior member of our sales division, you'll manage a large customer base and be required to complete the full sales cycle — from prospecting and relationship building through to solution presentation, negotiation, and closing. You'll work closely with internal specialists to develop proposals that align with client objectives and leverage the full suite of RBC's expansive technology offerings.

This position suits an experienced and motivated sales professional with a strong track record in B2B technology or solution-based sales. You'll be expected to take ownership of your territory, mentor junior sales staff, and contribute strategically to the ongoing success of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities across targeted verticals.
  • Conduct consultative needs assessments to understand client requirements.
  • Develop and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals with business clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Mentor and support junior sales consultants to foster team growth.

Requirements

  • experience in B2B sales through Print technology, IT, or solution-based sales.
  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and consultative selling approach.
  • Professional appearance, integrity, and drive to succeed.
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
