Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organised
Administrative Project Manager / Senior Project Coordinator
to support multiple people and workplace initiatives within the
People, Communications & Workplace Division
. This role will focus on project administration, coordination, and delivery support, ideal for someone who thrives on structure, organisation, and getting things done.
The successful candidate will be hands-on in managing project documentation, tracking milestones, maintaining risk and decision logs, and supporting the broader program team. This is an excellent opportunity for a project professional who enjoys coordinating complex streams of work and driving delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Contract Summary

Up to $1,000 per day + Super - Contract Length:
Until 30 April 2026 (extension likely until June 2026) - Work Model:
Hybrid – Macquarie Park, Elizabeth Street, and home-based - Location:
Sydney
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project coordination and administration across multiple workstreams
- Maintain and update project documentation including plans, schedules, and reports
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions using structured project management tools
- Support the program lead and project specialists in day-to-day delivery activities
- Prepare and manage
Gantt charts
,
Kanban boards
, and task trackers - Coordinate project governance documentation, reporting, and risk registers
- Ensure all deliverables are progressing to plan and aligned with program objectives
- Work collaboratively across HR, change management, and organisational design teams
- Support change and communication activities related to people and workplace transformation
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a
Project Manager
or
Senior Project Coordinator
in large or complex organisations - Strong background in
project administration, coordination, and reporting - Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as
MS Project
,
Jira
, or
Trello - Proficiency in creating and maintaining
Gantt charts
,
Kanban boards
, and structured project plans - Demonstrated experience managing
risk ledgers
,
decision logs
, and
project governance documentation - Strong understanding of
HR
or
change management
environments (highly regarded) - Practical knowledge of
Prince2
or equivalent project management frameworks - Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
