The Position - Seeking Senior School LSO

  • 5 days a week
  • Immediate Start
  • Potential for ongoing with six months probation
  • Reports to Learning Enhancement Coordinator

We are seeking Learning Support Officers/Teacher Aides to support our staff and students in our Senior School. At St John's we value our staff who are dedicated to our students and provide a caring and nurturing working relationship. Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support the classroom teacher working under their direction.
  • Communicate with students in the delivery of educational programs and assisting
  • Support teachers by providing a consistent approach to learning and behaviour management.
  • Maintain highest level of confidentiality at all times.

Applicants must have:

  • A Valid and Current Working with Children's Check
  • Permission to work in Australia.
  • A Certificate III or IV Teachers Aide Certificate or
  • Qualifications and/or experience relevant to working with students with special needs
