As part of our growth strategy, we're on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated
Business Development & Key Account Manager
to join our high-performing Victorian Sales team.

About the Role

Reporting to the GM – Sales & Business Development, you'll be responsible for managing and expanding key customer relationships while driving new business across
Victoria
,
New South Wales
, and
Queensland
.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Identify, target, and win new business opportunities in key industries
  • Negotiate and secure short- and long-term dry hire contracts
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and hire solutions
  • Represent Porter Plant professionally across the construction and infrastructure sectors

We're after someone who knows the hire industry and understands what it takes to build long-term, trust-based relationships. You're proactive, strategic, and confident in a sales environment.

ou'll bring:

Experience in the
plant hire
,
equipment rental
, or
construction / utility industries

Strong account management skills

Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships across multiple sectors

Commercial acumen and experience with pricing, tenders, and contract negotiation

A solutions-focused attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork

A current driver's licence and the ability to travel interstate as required
