About us

Caravan & Camping Aus is a fast-growing company that is a leading supplier to the RV and camping industry. We currently operate out of both Campbellfield and Pakenham with a rapidly increasing product range, consistent with furthering our sales across both wholesale and retail channels.

We are known for our quality products and first-class customer service. We have an enthusiastic small team motivated by constant improvement, both in the product we deliver and how we deliver it. As a growing business, we are seeking an additional Sales Executive with a minimum of two years of sales experience for an immediate start; based in Campbellfield but requirement to travel locally and occasionally interstate when needed. Company vehicle provided.

Full-Time Work hours are:

Monday-Thursday 7.00am-3.30pm

Friday 7.00am-1.00pm

Qualifications & experience

Key requirements:

  • Experience – Minimum 2 years of experience in direct selling
  • Communication Skills – Effective verbal and written communication is essential
  • Customer Relationship Management – Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer interactions, track leads, and forecast sales.
  • Energy – Be high energy and driven to succeed, an engaging person who people trust and like, because of your knowledge and desire to help;
  • Reliable, hard-working and willing to get the job done;
  • Adaptability – Capability to develop effective sales strategies and adapt to market trends and customer preferences
  • Technical - Proficiency in Excel

Advantageous (but not essential):

  • Product and Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the RV industry and existing RV products, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Report to the National Sales Manager
  • Grow wholesale and B2B product sales to exceed targets within set sales region
  • Develop new business and foster strong customer relationships through face-to-face contact and other communication channels
  • Identify and pursue new sales customer sales opportunities through networking, referrals and proactive outreach
  • Liaise with customers regarding new products, product updates and price changes
  • Liaise with internal team members to meet customer expectations
  • Conveying to customers product and service information, addressing customer concerns, negotiating terms and managing customer objections or rejections
  • Identify RV product growth opportunities within your region
  • Actively seek new business
  • Understand the capabilities of the business and selling those capabilities to target existing and prospective customers
  • Identifying the needs of prospective and existing customers, and leveraging the business's ability to meet those needs
  • Attending caravan and RV shows for customer engagement
