About your new role

Make a Real Difference Mells Care is a NDIS registered Disability Service Provider providing flexible person centered support for people living with a disability. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients and are seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team and make a difference.

We are currently looking for new team members across Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and surround areas with an immediate opportunity in Inala and ongoing work available for the right people.

What You'll Do

You'll help clients live life their way. Your role includes:

  • Support Clients: Give care that meets each person's needs and goals.

  • Daily Help: Assist with personal care, moving around, meals, and household tasks.

  • Join the Community: Help clients take part in activities and connect with others.

  • Safe and Respectful Care: Make sure clients feel safe, supported, and respected.

  • Easy Documentation: Record care clearly using our ShiftCare app.

Immediate Opportunity - Inala

We have an urgent casual role supporting a participant in Inala. This support role involving personal care and manual handling.

  • Up to 38 hours per week for the right person

  • Inactive sleepovers

  • Flexible casual hours

  • Participant preference: The participant prefers a female support worker but all applicants are welcome. Our focus is on participant choice, safety and comfort.

What You Need:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a disability support role is highly desirable.

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

  • Working with Children Card (Blue Card)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)

  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module

  • Class C open driver's license

  • Comprehensive Care Insurance and registered vehicle

  • 100 Points of ID

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
