Position Title:   Junior Software & BI Developer

Reports To: IT Manager

Department:     Information Technology

JOB PURPOSE

· To support and assist the Software Engineer and IT team in maintaining, developing and improving business systems, integrations and reporting tools.

· To provide technical support and contribute to the development of applications and BI reports that enhance efficiency and data visibility across the organisation.

· To ensure reliable, well-documented, and accurate business systems and reporting that support informed decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· System Support & Administration

· Log, manage, and resolve support requests related to business systems and applications.

· Provide level 1 support to end users, escalating issues where required.

· Assist in testing, configuration and troubleshooting of software, hardware, and network-related issues in conjunction with the IT Administrator and Software Engineer.

· Maintain accurate support documentation and configuration records.

· Provide user assistance and training on reporting tools, applications and related systems.

· Software development & integration.

· Work under the guidance of the Software Engineer to design, test and deploy software enhancements and system integrations.

· Business Intelligence & Reporting

· Ensure data integrity, consistency and accuracy across reporting platforms.

· Work with business departments to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions.

· Continuous improvements & projects

· Document technical processes, business rules and report specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

· Basic programming knowledge in C#, SQL or similar languages.

· Experience or strong interest in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, SSRS

· Understanding of database concepts and relational data structures (SQL preferred)

· Familiarity with ERP systems

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
