We are looking for out next team member. We are looking for the "right" person who will fit in with our culture and can work within the current processes and structure we have. The role is a Financial Planner but we have some flexibility to develop a role for the right person.

Our practice is an established business that has been in the Macarthur area for 20 years. We pride ourselves on knowing our clients and provide Personalised advice to achieve their goals.

As a result of exponential business growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planner to join us. There is an existing client base and steady stream of leads for the right person. We will also consider buying clients if you have a client base to come with you.

We are located in Macarthur but also looking to expand the business and there is an opportunity to build a lasting career with us.

Start date is flexible.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting client meetings.
  • Understanding clients' immediate needs, long term objectives and level of comfort with risk.
  • Recommend appropriate strategies, product and service options across all areas with a focus on Taxation, Superannuation, Insurance Protection and Investment products.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance of client files and advice documentation.
  • Meeting relevant KPI's.
  • Look after a set client base and ensure exceptional service and advice is provided.
  • Assist with the growth of the Wealth Management division as well as managing and growing a small existing client base of HNWs.
  • Work closely with new and existing referral partners to grow the business.
  • Manage a book of existing clients and be passionate about the delivery of the best advice.
  • You will need to work in a small team where we all chip in and do things. There are job roles but when things need to be done we all help out.
  • You will need to liaise with the Client Services Manager to ensure all client tasks and advice is completed.
  • You will report in to the Senior Planner and help manage existing and new clients.
  • Ensure your education is on track and compliant.

Requirements:

  • FASEA completion and relevant tertiary and industry certifications. CFP preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Economics or related field, plus FASEA completion and relevant tertiary and industry certifications. CFP preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Financial Planner or Financial Adviser in Australia
  • Willing to build a book of clients and achieve positive outcomes for clients and the business.
  • Strong knowledge of superannuation products, insurance, regulations, and taxation implications.
  • High to moderate level of technical and strategic knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using financial planning software and tools.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software such as Xplan, MYOB, or similar CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or onsite environment.
  • Ability to fit with our team and show trust, integrity and authenticity in daily work.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities with effective oral and written communication.
  • Decisive in actions with meticulous and rigorous attention to detail.
  • Confident and humble with an ability to engage clients at the senior level.
  • Unwavering commitment to quality and desire to commit to a long term career the business.
  • Must have a license and car to travel to some clients.
  • Hours are 9 to 5 but after hours may be required.
  • RG146 compliant or ability to obtain compliance within agreed timeframe
  • Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia
