Contract Administrator

Reitsma Constructions, a well established commercial building company, is seeking to hire a Contract Administrator for projects in the Greater Sydney Area.
Our ideal candidate would have at least 5 years experience in the construction industry. The applicant will be required 5 days per week on a variety of commercial projects. The projects will be generally between $2-30 million dollars, with the occasional larger project.
The role requires:
- A passion for the construction industry.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Initiative and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Outline of job role:
- Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Preparation and sending of sub-contract packages.
- Sub-contract tender analysis.
- "Take off" of all elements of construction.
- Document control.
- Preparation of sub-contract comparison schedules.
- Subcontractor meetings.
- Using the following software packages – Jonas Premier / Estimateone / Buildsoft / Google Sheets / Google Docs
- Preparing and sending RFI's.
- Preparing and issuing variations.
- Meeting minutes.
- Preparation of sub-contracts and supplier orders
- Negotiating sub-contract agreements.
- Cost reporting
- Dispute resolution
