Greenbergs is a newly opened, vibrant, Mediterranean-inspired eatery with a strong catering arm and a focus on takeaway and dine-in meals. We're looking for a creative and highly organised Head Chef to take full ownership of our kitchen and food operations.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing all kitchen operations, including:

  • Daily service for dine-in and takeaway
  • Catering production (corporate, events and private)
  • Development of new "take-home" meals and retail products

We're inspired by big flavours, a touch of rustic charm, and bold, fresh ingredients. We want someone who lights up when they open the cool room and sees the potential to turn seasonal produce into something delicious.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and inspire a small but growing kitchen team
  • Design and develop menus, specials and catering offerings
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
  • Oversee stock, ordering and supplier relationships
  • Drive kitchen systems, prep schedules and food safety compliance
  • Work with management to meet cost and labour targets
About You
  • A creative chef with a love of produce and Mediterranean food
  • Strong leadership skills – you know how to build, motivate and train a team
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing costs, systems and prep schedules
