The Company
We have partnered with a well-established, highly successful and respected volume home builder to appoint a General Manager of Sales & Marketing. With a portfolio of multiple brands, a strong retail and wholesale market presence and a reputation for quality and innovation, this business is well positioned for its next phase of growth.
This executive leadership role will be responsible for driving sales performance, elevating brand presence, and building strong relationships with key developer partners. Overseeing a team of passionate and high performing Sales Managers and Brand Marketing Managers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth strategy across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of Sales and Marketing leaders across multiple brands
- Drive sales growth and market share through effective strategy and execution
- Oversee brand and customer engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive the strategy for customer-focused initiatives — from digital engagement and messaging through to in-display and sales journey experiences.
- Strengthen and manage relationships with developers and external partners
- Monitor and optimise sales performance, customer experience, and marketing ROI
- Contribute to executive leadership and business-wide strategic decision-making
About You
We are seeking an accomplished sales and marketing business leader with proven experience in residential volume home building. You will bring:
- Demonstrated success in a senior Sales & Marketing leadership role
- Experience leading multi-brand portfolios and high-performing teams
- A strong understanding of marketing principles and a proven ability to define and reposition brands to deliver stronger customer connection
- Strong commercial acumen and a growth mindset
- A deep understanding of customer and brand experience in the building sector
- Ability to build and maintain strong industry relationships, particularly with developers.
