We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our client-side team at Hope Island, although relocation to one of our development or construction projects may be required at some stage.

About the Role:

Reporting functionally to the Senior Project Managers, the Contracts Administrator will play an integral role in the commercial and contractual administration of GH Properties' development and construction projects. You will support the project management team in all aspects of contract administration — from tender and procurement through to delivery and completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Administer and manage head contracts, subcontracts, and consultancy agreements across multiple concurrent projects
  • Monitor and report on project budgets, progress claims, and cash flow forecasts
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contractual documentation to protect company interests
  • Assess and process variations, extensions of time, and other contractual claims
  • Support tendering and procurement processes, including consultant and contractor appointments
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records for management review and reporting
  • Provide administrative support to project teams as required.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally on the client side of development or project management.
  • Sound understanding of construction contracts, including AS forms and consultant agreements.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable "hands-on" approach suited to a small, agile, and professional team environment.
