The Opportunity

Jacobs Bakery is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Brendale, QLD. This is a part time role, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with all aspects of our store operations

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Creating delicious goods, including coffees, sandwiches, and wraps. Don't worry we'll teach you
  • Processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments
  • Maintaining the store's visual presentation and merchandising
  • Restocking and replenishing shelves as needed
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure a positive customer experience

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including Weekends when required
