Internal Sales Representative

CMI Electrical Products is a part of the IPD Group of Companies. We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of Electrical Cable and Industrial Products to the electrical industry with significant operations nationally. CMI Electrical Products distributes to Industrial, Commercial, Wholesalers, OEM and Utilities markets.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting directly to the Queensland State Sales Manager, this role will be based at our office in Brendale.

About the role:

In this role, you will play a key part in driving sales and supporting our customers by providing exceptional service and tailored product solutions.

• Engaging with customers over the phone to promote products and services, meet sales targets and customer needs.
• Preparing accurate and timely quotes for customers, ensuring all details are clear and meet their requirements.
• Proactively following up on quotes provided to customers to encourage decision-making and address any questions or concerns.
• Delivering exceptional service in every customer interaction, ensuring a positive experience that fosters loyalty.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support.
• Efficiently processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to meet customer demands.

About you:

• Previous experience in customer service within a wholesale or retail environment
• Experience in the electrical industry is an advantage, but not essential
• Intermediate computer skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent work ethic with a willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to grow and succeed in the role
• A collaborative team player
