Part-Time Family Law Solicitor

Location: Brisbane CBD

Hours: Part-time (2–3 days per week, flexible)

Salary: Dependent on experience

We are a client-focused family law firm seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a solicitor looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance while continuing to work on meaningful and varied family law matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing private family law matters including children, property, divorce, financial agreements and domestic violence
  • Conducting client meetings and providing clear, compassionate legal advice
  • Drafting legal documents and court applications
  • Attending court and representing clients where appropriate
  • Working closely with support staff and colleagues in a collaborative environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in family law
  • Strong working knowledge of private family law procedures
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards
