What you'll be doing
- Running events from rehearsal to pack down, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly
- Setting the standard for venue presentation and guest experience
- Managing stock, inventory, safety audits, and pre and post event administration
- Leading wedding rehearsals and being the calm, confident point of contact for clients and suppliers
- Supporting the Area Manager by spotting operational improvements and rostering requirements
- Helping onboard and train new team members, shaping the next generation of event professionals
The nitty gritty
- Rate: Base of $32/hour plus penalties + super (Restaurant Award, permanent role)
- Location: Mainly Northside venues, including our flagship venue The Trust
- Hours: Permanent role (mainly Tuesday - Saturday however flexibility required) with weekend and evening availability needed
- Contract Details: September - end of March (potential option to extend or go permanent)
