Marketing Assistant / Graduate (Part-Time)

Wanderlust Communications
— a small but mighty marketing agency based in Perth. We work with an incredible mix of clients, from tourism organisations and e-commerce businesses to government teams and big consumer brands. Our mission is simple: create engaging marketing campaigns that deliver real results.

Marketing Assistant / Graduate
to our team.

About the role

This is a hands-on, entry-level role where you'll get to work across a wide range of marketing activities, including:

  • Scheduling and reporting on social media content
  • Copywriting and community management
  • Creating visual content in Canva
  • Assisting with video editing for Instagram Reels and TikTok

We'll provide full training — all we ask is that you bring enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to learn. You'll be working closely with a small, supportive team and have the chance to build lasting relationships with our clients.

This role starts part-time (around 20 hours per week) as a 6-month contract, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

About you

We're looking for a motivated self-starter who's recently completed a marketing or communications degree (or is looking to start their career in marketing). You'll have great writing skills, strong organisation and a genuine passion for social media.

Key selection criteria:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest
  • Ability to think clearly, show initiative and work independently
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Right to work in Australia (valid visa required)

Desired skills:

  • Qualification in digital marketing
  • Experience with video editing, photography or content creation
