Position Purpose

The Media and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering all media, communications, and marketing initiatives for Red Invest and its subsidiaries. This role will drive the company's brand presence, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support business growth through strategic marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Media & Communications

• Develop and implement a group-wide media and communications strategy.
• Manage press releases, internal announcements, newsletters, and corporate communications.
• Act as first point of contact for media enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, industry networks, and Indigenous organisations.

Marketing & Branding

• Develop and maintain consistent brand identity across all subsidiaries.
• Design and coordinate marketing campaigns for business development and community engagement.
• Oversee production of promotional materials, brochures, capability statements, and presentations.
• Support tender and bid submissions with high-quality marketing and communications content.

Digital & Social Media

• Manage and grow Red Invest's online presence (website, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms).
• Create engaging digital content, including articles, videos, graphics, and project updates.
• Monitor analytics and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.

Events & Engagement

• Coordinate corporate events, sponsorships, community programs, and stakeholder forums.
• Support the promotion of Indigenous initiatives, including scholarship and trainee programs.
• Collaborate with business development teams to maximise brand visibility at industry events.

Administration & Reporting

• Prepare monthly marketing reports for the Executive team and Steering Committee.
• Manage the marketing budget efficiently and ensure cost-effective outcomes.
• Maintain a marketing calendar aligned to corporate objectives and subsidiary milestones.

Key Relationships

• Internal: CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Subsidiary General Managers, Indigenous Engagement Manager, Business Development teams, HR.
• External: Media outlets, marketing agencies, Indigenous communities and organisations, industry associations, government stakeholders, clients.

Selection Criteria

Essential

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in media, marketing, or communications role.
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
• Experience managing corporate social media platforms and digital campaigns.
• Graphic design and content creation experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable

• Experience working with Indigenous-owned businesses or community engagement initiatives.
• Knowledge of tender/bid writing support in construction, engineering, or mining industries.
• Photography/videography skills for digital storytelling.
