  • Leading policy, program and reform initiatives that enhance service delivery, organisational resilience and cultural change.
  • Overseeing governance, risk, and business improvement frameworks to ensure accountability and sound decision-making.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • A proven record as a senior executive leader in a large and complex organisation, with experience in corporate services, transformation and reform.
  • Proven broad leadership capability with exposure to an asset intensive environment involving a large fleet and property portfolio.
  • Exceptional judgement, agility, and integrity, with the ability to lead in a dynamic, high-profile environment.
  • Strong capability in strategy, governance, financial management, and people leadership.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to foster confidence and trust across diverse audiences.
  • A values-based leadership approach aligned to QFD's values of Respect, Integrity, Trust, Courage and Loyalty.

Why join us?

This is more than an executive role - it is a unique opportunity to contribute to the resilience, safety and wellbeing of all Queensland communities. As Chief Operating Officer, you will lead contemporary strategies and reforms that ensure QFD is prepared for the challenges of today and tomorrow.
