Position Summary:
We're looking for someone to lead and execute MYMC's paid performance marketing strategy across channels like search, social, programmatic, display, affiliates, and retail media. This role is a mix of strategic planning and hands-on optimisation, all aimed at driving customer acquisition, maximising ROI, and supporting revenue growth.
As the Performance Marketing Lead, you'll work closely with our digital, data, and creative teams to manage everything from channel planning and campaign execution to performance analysis and budget forecasting & ensuring all efforts are aligned across digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and deliver the paid media strategy and roadmap across key channels (search, paid social, video, programmatic, display and affiliates) for My Muscle Chef and Chefgood
- Shape the future structure of the performance function to maximise efficiency and growth
- Manage paid media budget forecasting, spend allocation models and scenario planning to optimise ROI
- Build channel playbooks, campaign roadmaps and scaling frameworks to deliver measurable growth
Execution & Delivery
- Manage external agency partners while being hands-on "on the tools" with an in-house specialist
- Brief and deliver creative assets aligned to marketing initiatives ensuring campaigns launch to the highest standard
- Partner with data teams to implement audience segmentation, targeting and expansion strategies that drive performance
Creative & Testing
- Lead testing programs across messaging, dynamic optimisation and ad copy to improve conversion and efficiency
- Test and optimise campaigns with a strong focus on video driving insights to scale high-performing creative
Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain and improve dashboards tracking CAC, ROAS, LTV and other acquisition KPIs to enable fast decision-making
- Deliver clear reporting and review packs that highlight insights, efficiencies and growth opportunities
Leadership & Development
- Build team capability through mentorship, knowledge sharing and performance coaching
Skills & Experience:
Essential
- 5+ years experience in paid media / performance marketing, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or consumer brands.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar budgets and achieving measurable growth.
- Strong understanding of advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, programmatic DSPs, affiliate networks).
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in attribution modelling, cohort analysis, and KPI reporting.
- High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for forecasting and data modelling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- Experience with creative testing frameworks, dynamic creative optimisation, and ad personalisation.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Google Tag Manager.
- Exposure to lifecycle marketing, CRM platforms, or SEO principles to ensure cross-channel alignment.
- Previous experience mentoring or leading a small team.
