Being signatory of Clean Energy Council Code of Conduct, we are committed to best industry practices. As our business expands, we are looking to bring on a Trade Assistant.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Trade Assistant to support our qualified installers. This role offers an excellent entry point into the renewable energy sector, providing hands-on experience, professional training, and the opportunity to progress within the trade.

You will work under the supervision of a qualified electrician, assisting in the installation of solar and battery systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold a valid C class driving license and able to drive a manual vehicle
  • Physically fit and able
  • White Card/ Working at Heights
  • The willingness to perform any task required for the Job
  • Have a positive and can-do attitude and follow instructions
  • Be prepared to work away from home if and when necessary

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Be a part of a leading team to install solar panels and battery system installations at job site
  • Assist the team with loading/unloading, lifting, installation and transport of job gear
  • Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials on-site
  • Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, electric staplers and other hand-held electric tools
  • Prepare and maintain work areas to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Assist with wiring, cabling, and assembly of system components under supervision
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company installation standards
  • Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
