Base rate: $30 per hour*

About Us

Pickle Power Kids is a fun, energetic sports program bringing the exciting game of pickleball to young players across Melbourne's inner west. For over a year, we've been introducing kids to this fast-growing sport through engaging, skill-focused classes designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork. Our passionate coaches create a supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to learn, improve, and have a blast on the court. From first-time players to building young athletes, we help kids discover the joy of movement while fostering a love for a sport they can play for life.

The Role

We're looking for energetic and passionate sports coaches to join our team. You don't need to be a pickleball expert – if you've got experience coaching in any sport and you're confident running programs from written lesson plans, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging pickleball sessions for kids aged 6 to 15.
  • Follow and adapt our structured programs to meet the needs of different groups.
  • Create a safe, positive, and fun learning environment.
  • Encourage teamwork, communication, and confidence in kids.
  • Provide feedback and support to help kids develop their skills.

What We're Looking For

  • Certificate 3 Sports Coaching or equivalent is preferred
  • Previous experience in teaching kids is essential
  • Hold a current Police Check + Working With Children's Check
  • Ability to confidently follow and adapt structured lesson plans.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • A fun, energetic, and positive personality

*All appointments will be subject to 3 month probational period with an adjusted rate of $25/hr.
