About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Human Resources Officer (with Procurement Support Responsibilities)
to join our team. While the primary focus of this role is procurement and supply chain coordination, the successful candidate will also assist the
Procurement
department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys a diverse workload and is looking to broaden their experience across both procurement and HR functions within the renewable energy sector.
- Location: North Sydney
- Schedule: Monday to Friday; 9am to 5pm
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
HR Functions
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating employee training and inductions.
- Provide administrative support for payroll processing, including timesheet follow-up and employee data updates.
- Support the HR team in managing employee records, contracts, and documentation.
- Assist with employee engagement and communication initiatives.
- Provide general HR support across employee relations matters, as required.
Procurement Duties
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain and update procurement records, purchase orders, and inventory systems.
- Assist in cost analysis and budgeting for procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procurement policies, procedures, and legislation.
Key Requirements
- Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing (preferred).
- Exposure to HR processes or willingness to support HR functions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with procurement or HR software is a plus.
- Knowledge of Australian workplace practices and WHS regulations is desirable.
