Our client is a leading global OEM specialising in the design, manufacture, and supply of turnkey wet processing solutions. With a strong footprint across Australia and the Asia Pacific, they provide equipment and expertise to the mineral processing, mining, quarrying, aggregates, sand & gravel, recycling, ceramics, and glass industries.

Their solutions include:

  • Filter Presses for tailings and sludge dewatering
  • Thickeners & Clarifiers for water treatment and recovery
  • Complete Wet Processing Plants including crushing, washing, and classification systems
  • Slurry Pumps, Feeders, and Conveyors
  • Water Management & Recycling Systems

They partner with mine operators, quarrying companies, EPCs, EPCMs, and contractors, helping them reduce water use, increase recovery rates, and achieve environmental compliance. With a dedicated service and test facility in WA, they are recognised for technical depth, reliability, and a solutions-driven approach.

OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a WA State Sales Manager to join a growing Perth-based team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for developing new business and managing existing relationships across Western Australia, with a focus on the mining, quarrying, and recycling sectors.

This role blends business development and technical sales, requiring someone who can understand wet processing challenges, recommend tailored solutions, and support clients from feasibility through to commissioning. You'll spend 2–3 days per week in the office on the fringe of Perth's CBD, with the balance visiting client sites and travelling as required. Key duties include:

  • Develop and manage relationships with mining & quarry asset owners, EPCs/EPCMs, and contractors.
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and technical forums.
  • Conduct client meetings and demonstrations, including lab test work support where required.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams on proposals, tenders, and project delivery.
  • Provide accurate sales reporting, forecasts, and market intelligence.
  • Travel throughout WA (with occasional interstate travel).

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are seeking candidates with experience in capital equipment sales into industrial or mining markets—ideally with exposure to wet processing, filtration, or mineral processing systems. However, if you've sold mobile plant, heavy equipment, or turnkey solutions into mining, quarrying, or recycling, we want to hear from you. 

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience with capital equipment or industrial plant
  • Understanding of process industries (mining/quarrying/water treatment ideal).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Process and/or Mechanical discipline)
  • Strong ability to manage project-based sales and complex tenders.
  • Full driver's licence and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable travelling regionally across WA as needed.
