Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the growth of our broker and financial advisor network. This role is focused on identifying, onboarding, and nurturing high-performing partners within the mortgage channel. The ideal candidate will have a deep

understanding of lending processes, excellent relationship management skills, and a strategic mindset

geared toward growth. This position plays a critical role in driving loan volume, enhancing conversion

efficiency, and expanding our brand presence in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and onboard new mortgage brokers and financial advisors into the partner network.

  2. Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with broker partners to drive engagement and loyalty.

  3. Increase loan volumes by ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality applications from brokers.

  4. Analyze and improve conversion rates from application to settlement; address bottlenecks in the loan journey.

  5. Collaborate closely with internal teams including underwriting, credit, sales, and marketing to deliver seamless broker experiences.

  6. Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking functions, and broker events.

  7. Deliver regular performance updates, insights, and recommendations to the leadership team.

  8. Provide training and ongoing support to brokers on product offerings, tools, and submission processes.

Qualifications:

● Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Business Development Manager role, preferably within the

mortgage or financial services sector.

● Demonstrated success in driving growth through partner relationships and exceeding sales targets.

● Solid knowledge of Australian mortgage lending and broker processes.

● Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

● Commercially savvy, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and implement strategic

initiatives.

● Proficient with CRM platforms and reporting tools.

● Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Willingness to travel to broker offices and industry events as needed.
