International Freight Coordinator
IN A NUTSHELL
Since we launched with a range of six wallets in 2010, we've grown significantly and now release about 50 new products a year (give or take). Our Production team is in charge of ensuring all of these products (and those yet to come) are manufactured on time, in the right quantity and to up to standard.
As our International Freight Coordinator, you'll be the connector who keeps our global supply chain flowing. You'll manage international shipments end-to-end, partner with freight forwarders and couriers, and ensure our products get where they need to be.
You'll also be the first to spot (and solve) logistical issues, keep a close eye on lead times and costs, and look for ways to make our freight processes smarter, faster, and more efficient. It's a role where your expertise won't just keep us moving — it will help shape how we move in the future.
Bring us your eagerness to learn, organisational skills, and proactive communication style. In return, we'll offer an inclusive team and the support you need to advance your skills further.
YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE….
- 3+ years of experience in international logistics, preferably from freight forwarding or retail industries
- Familiarity with transportation management and various shipping methods (Sea, Air), and a strong grasp of INCOTERMS
- Experience coordinating shipments and working with freight forwarders and courier services
- Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures and associated documentation
- An understanding of freight booking processes and transit lead times of international shipping routes
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing logistical challenges and delays
- Comfortability using ERP software and proficiency in using spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK, YOU MIGHT HAVE…
- Generated and communicated shipment plans, coordinating with suppliers to meet deadlines and track deliveries
- Addressed and resolved shipment delays by working with carriers to expedite deliveries
- Created freight performance reports on key logistics metrics like lead times, shipping costs, and delivery performance
- Collaborated with your manager to negotiate better freight rates and developed shipment optimisation strategies
- Organised sample shipments for Quality Control and updated the ETA of shipments in the ERP system, keeping internal teams informed
- Handled inquiries from sales and operations teams, provided instructions to our remote support team for inbound processing, and approved logistics invoice
- Identified opportunities for process improvements and implemented changes to enhance logistics efficiency.
