THE TEAM

The Event Programming team is responsible for the development and maintenance of all events and related information distributed across multiple sales channels.

The team ensures that client requirements—both internal and external—are accurately represented and delivered through all platforms.

Responsibilities include event creation, advanced configurations, amendments, inventory and pricing updates, promotions, and quality assurance.

The team provides a professional, timely service, taking ownership of requests and issues with a customer-focused approach, using their expertise to deliver helpful, reliable support.

THE JOB

The Event Programmer plays a key role in the setup and maintenance of events across the distribution network.

This includes ensuring accurate programming, providing reporting support, and contributing to the full lifecycle of an event.

The role requires close collaboration with client-facing teams and other departments to ensure events are built to meet both client and customer needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Prepare, create, check, and maintain all types of performances to ensure events are programmed accurately.

  • Collaborate with the Client Management team to optimise event design for clients and ticket sellers.

  • Provide expertise and support to other departments and contribute to cross-functional projects.

  • Set accurate onsale times and participate in onsale coordination calls.

  • Troubleshoot and support Box Office, Call Centre, and Product Support teams as needed.

  • Perform other duties as required to support event operations.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Customer Focus: Ensure client and customer needs are met with clear communication and proactive service.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail when transposing information.

  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and occasional overtime. Availability for urgent event changes or out-of-hours onsale support.

  • Computer Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Notepad++ or similar text editors, shell editors, and general Windows tools.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to apply knowledge creatively across varied scenarios to find timely solutions.
