POSITION STATEMENT

This is a Casual role and it will be based within ANZAC Club, at RSLWA State Branch in Perth CBD, reporting to the ANZAC Club General Manager.  The successful candidate will be responsible for driving event sales, ensuring seamless planning and execution of weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions. This role combines client relationship management with logistical coordination to deliver unforgettable experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Client Engagement

  • Respond to inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
  • Conduct venue tours and client consultations
  • Prepare and negotiate event & wedding proposals and contracts
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and follow up regularly

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Liaise with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements
  • Develop detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Function Plans
  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure flawless execution
  • Coordinate wedding on the day together with banquet manager
  • Manage event timelines, setup, and breakdown logistics

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, communications, and event details
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
  • Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective planning
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups and gather client feedback

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in event sales and wedding coordination
  • National Police Clearance

  • Highly adaptable with ability to work flexibility, including out of standard work hours (for RSLWA events) as required.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to perform well in fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong teamwork orientation, with the ability and social skills to work collaboratively with staff at all levels
  • Exceptional attention to details.

  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365
