Situated in Underwood, on the Southside of Brisbane, we are an experienced specialist provider of repairs, servicing, modification and accessories for all RV vehicles including caravans, camper trailers and motor homes. We provide a comprehensive range of services to cater for any project from small to extensive.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to manage procurement for our operations. This is a vital role that ensures our jobs run on time and on budget by maintaining efficient supply chains and supplier relationships.
Our preference would be for someone who has previous experience working in the RV Industry. You will be responsible for the timely procurement of all goods, stock, custom items and consumables for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Source, negotiate, and purchase parts, materials, fittings, and consumables required for RV repairs, service and modification for our workshop and retail outlet
Maintain optimal stock levels in coordination with the customer management and workshop teams
Establish and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, pricing and timely receiving of all goods and services for our business
Review quotes, purchase orders, and contracts for best value and terms
Monitor order status and delivery schedules, resolving any delays or issues
Maintain accurate purchasing records, inventory data, and supplier documentation
Liaise closely with customer relations, estimating, and accounts departments
Assist with customer calls and enquiries, as required
Meet with customers to assist with estimating repair and modification, as required
What You'll Need
Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in the RV industry
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational capability
Proficiency with procurement or inventory systems (e.g. Mechanic Desk)
Proficiency with procurement and accounting systems (Mechanic Desk and MYOB) and advanced MS Excel skills
Familiarity with RV Construction and components is highly regarded
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work rights for Australia and hold a current driver's licence
Background in the RV Industry highly regarded
