The Position

Troocoo is partnering with a trusted organisation to recruit a Purchasing Specialist for an initial short-term contract, with strong potential for extension or permanency. This role offers WFH flexibility two days a week and free on site parking.

Troocoo is partnering with a trusted organisation to recruit a Purchasing Specialist for an initial short-term contract, with strong potential for extension or permanency. This role offers WFH flexibility two days a week and free on site parking.

This role will see you play a key part in executing purchasing and sourcing activities across various categories, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance standards. This position is ideal for someone immediately available, enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and has excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and promptly process purchase orders within company systems and processes accurately.
  • Obtain quotes and liaise with suppliers on the supply of goods and services.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving invoicing discrepancies and supplier performance concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communication.

Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a Purchasing, Buying, Sourcing or Procurement position.
  • Experience in purchasing/sourcing goods and services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team player with good relationship-building skills.
