Purchasing & Logistics Manager – E-Commerce

Purchasing & Logistics Manager

Why this role matters:
As the business grows, they're implementing a new ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS), refining their logistics processes, and building stronger supply chain relationships. You'll be at the centre of it all — managing stock levels, overseeing freight, and driving system improvements that take the operation to the next level.
It's a hands-on role to begin with, but once the foundations are in place, you'll have the chance to shape the function and grow with the business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory & Stock Management: Maintain optimal stock levels across all platforms. Ensure prompt, efficient ordering and reliable supply chain operations.
  • Supplier Relations: Place and coordinate supplier orders. Negotiate pricing and contracts with international and local suppliers and freight partners.
  • Logistics Coordination: Organise domestic and international freight. Track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Cost Optimisation: Audit freight and logistics processes. Use Free Trade Agreements to minimise duties and seek new cost-saving opportunities.
  • Pricing & Product Management: Set competitive pricing. Track freight quotes vs invoiced amounts and manage vendor audits.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and train the Purchasing & Buying team. Communicate effectively across departments and resolve procurement/logistics issues.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide weekly updates on inventory, stock movements, and financials via Shopify and Xero.
  • WMS Implementation: Take the lead on implementing a new Warehouse Management System and integrating barcode/scanner software.
  • Process Improvement: Review existing processes regularly and suggest improvements to boost efficiency and cut costs.
About You:
  • Proven experience in a Purchasing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management role – ideally in e-commerce or fast-paced retail
  • Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, Cin7, Salesforce, etc.)
  • A strong grasp of international freight, supplier negotiations, and inventory control
  • Hands-on experience implementing a WMS and using barcode/scanner systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A data-driven, problem-solving mindset
  • Proactive reporting and action on stock trends, pricing, and supplier performance
  • A proven ability to keep high-selling items in stock, launch products on time, and coordinate with multiple departments
What's In It for You?
  • Up to $120,000 Super Benefits for the right candidate
  • Join a fast-growing e-commerce leader with a loyal customer base
  • Work from a cool, creative office in Windsor with an onsite warehouse
  • Be part of a high-energy, inclusive, and innovative team
  • The chance to leave your mark on business systems and future growth
